The KFLOW FR800 Flow Restrictor is designed for use in RO (Reverse Osmosis) water purifiers. It is installed on the reject/waste-water outlet of the RO membrane housing and controls the flow of reject water.
By restricting the wastewater flow, the FR800 helps create and maintain the required back pressure inside the RO membrane, allowing the membrane to operate effectively. It also maintains reject-water flow so dissolved salts and contaminants can be carried away from the membrane surface.
The FR800 rating generally denotes approximately 800 ml/min nominal flow; actual flow can vary with pressure and operating conditions.
